Dr. Jhoanna completed her Doctor of Medicine degree at the University of the Philippines, Manila, in 2012 and her Post-Graduate training at the Philippine General Hospital, National University. Thereafter, she finished her residency and speciality training in Internal Medicine and became a Diplomate of Internal Medicine under the Philippine College of Physicians.
Apart from being an internist, she has received Post Graduate Diploma in Epidemiology, Implementation Science and is currently finishing her Master’s Degree in Public Health Management, majoring in Health Systems Development and has been part of multiple public health and clinical research activities in Philippines.
She has 7 years of clinical experience, working in primary care, inpatient, outpatient and intensive care facilities.
She speaks English and Filipino.
