Dr. Nimat obtained her clinical MD from Khartoum University, Sudan, in 1998, and is a member the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG), United Kingdom, since 2005. She was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRCOG) in March 2018.
She has a specific interest in obstetrics and gynaecological ultrasound, and has obtained a Master’s Degree in Advanced Obstetric and Gynaecological Ultrasound from Dubrovnic University, Croatia in 2012. She has participated as a speaker in national and international ultrasound conferences and holds a Diploma in Ultrasound from Ian Donald School.
Dr. Nimat is also a member of the Sudanese Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (SSCCP), dedicated to women’s health maintenance through early detection program of cervical and breast cancer. She has rich experience in performing Hysteroscopy and Colposcopy and over 20 years of experience in antenatal management including high risk pregnancies, initial assessment and management of infertility cases, gynaecological assessment and management, including surgical intervention.
