Dr. Puneet completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Surgery (BDS) from Manipal College of Dental Sciences, Mangalore, India in 2005, and his Master’s in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from Tamil Nadu Government Dental College & Hospital, Chennai, India in 2010. Dr. Puneet received his Fellowship in Cleft Lip & Palate Surgery from Maaya Foundation Cleft Centre, Surat affiliated with DCKH Germany, in 2011.
Dr. Puneet has completed various certificate courses including a Master’s course in Strategic Implantology “Basal Implantology”, and also received Implantology privilege from Department of Health, Abu Dhabi, UAE. He is currently pursuing MBA (Hospital Administration) from Sikkim Manipal University , India.
He has an excellent track record of over 10 years in clinical and academic practice, and worked in various dental and medical hospitals in India as a Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and Implantologist. Dr. Puneet has also served at Al Dhafra Hospital (SEHA) Madinat Zayed Western Region

Further, Dr. Puneet has experience in teaching as a Senior Lecturer and Reader in various Dental Colleges and Hospitals in India, and his keen interest lies in rehabilitation of the jaws using Dental Implants including advanced surgical procedures like sinus lift, ridge splits, ridge augmentation and nerve transposition.
Hi core areas of expertise includes minor oral surgical procedures like dental implants, removal of impacted teeth, management of oral infections, apicoectomy, cyst removal, surgical exposure of tooth, arch bar fixation in local anaesthesia, surgical removal of oral tumor, etc., as well as major surgical procedures like surgical management of mandibular fractures, maxillary fractures, Zygoma fractures, Orbital fractures and complex craniofacial fractures, surgical management of TMJ Ankylosis, dislocation, subluxation, TMJ Arthroscopy, comprehensive management of cleft patients including cleft lip and cleft palate repair, alveolar bone grafting, rhinoplasty, cleft osteotomy, distraction osteogenesis, orthognathic surgery, post traumatic defect correction and scar revision.
